摘要: This study examined the influence of race and other demographic characteristics on session attendance dropout from a cognitive-behavioral treatment program for male domestic abusers (N = 101). Multiple regression analyses revealed that lower was significantly predicted by unemployed status African American (versus Caucasian) race. Other factors could not account differences in attendance. Race strongest predictor all analyses. Racial composition groups related to number sessions attended Caucasian or clients. Although combined (interactive) effect referral source statistically significant, pattern means suggested self-referred Americans were at greatest risk dropout. Results suggest dropout, mechanisms these differences, deserve more clinical research attention abusers.
