摘要: Purpose To determine the effect of selective intubation on ablation zone size during pulmonary cryoablation. Materials and Methods Selective bronchial aeration was performed in three domestic swine. A total 20 cryoablations (ventilated, n = 10; nonventilated, 10) were performed. The animals immediately sacrificed, their lungs removed sectioned along axis 5-mm intervals. diameter area recorded, isoperimetric ratio (measure circularity) estimated volume calculated. Results There no significant difference maximum diameter, minimum area, circularity, or zones between aerated nonaerated groups (mean 2.4 cm vs cm, respectively, P .99; 4.6 2 4.8 , .7; 0.94 0.94, volume, 11.5 3 11.3 .99). Conclusions In contrast to radiofrequency ablation, did not have a resulting zones. This suggests that may be warranted setting
