摘要: Abstract Cone photoreceptors in the retina of African cichlid fish, Haplochromis burtoni. are arranged a mosaic pattern: four twin cones square around single central cone. Using functional cytochemical technique, two different photopigments shown to have an alternating symmetry pattern about This produces uniform distribution retinal pigment types and is very likely general principle organization fish.
