摘要: This work was focused at investigating the improvement of heavy metal removal process produced by aquatic plant, Lepironia articulata for treatment wastewater. The bio-sorption chromium (Cr) signifies one key alternatives removal. application articulate as bio-absorber hasn’t been studied yet. near to Taman Anggerik, Kedah, Malaysia, examined in wastewater contaminated with 4, 8, 12 and 16 mg l -1 Cr. concentrations were analysed regularly plant biomass after experiments. results revealed that maintaining pH 6.1 ± 0.1, temperature 22 1 oC photoperiod h/j capable accumulating its 3, 15, 24 25 g -1 DM, four preliminary Cr selected. At selected concentrations, ranged between 62.45– 72.84%. mass balance analysis carried out during experiment approximately 40–63% (based on wastewater) eliminated through precipitation process. Thus, using may bring a major point conventional
