摘要: Posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and major depressive episode (MDE) are frequent disabling consequences of surviving severe injury. The majority those who develop these problems not identified or treated. aim this study was to validate a screening instrument that identifies, during hospitalization, adults at high risk for developing PTSD and/or MDE. Hospitalized injury patients (n = 527) completed pool questions represented 13 constructs vulnerability. They were followed up 12 months assessed resulting database split into 2 subsamples.
