摘要: This report documents a case of envenomation by Malagasy opisthoglyphous snake, Langaha madagascariensis. The snake bit the finger healthy adult man who was attempting to record its morphological measurements as part biodiversity survey which being conducted in extreme north Madagascar. Symptoms this included severe local pain accompanied observable swelling lasted for several days. present observations indicate that bite L. madagascariensis potentially causes notable physiological effects humans although is generally calm and reluctant unless provoked.
