摘要: Abstract : The overall objective of this project was to discover, design and demonstrate the feasibility bioluminescent materials for use in marking, tagging, anti-tamper applications.(1) technology near-Infrared (nIR) dye labeling (BRET) activation a firefly luciferase were transferred Rajesh Naik's lab at AFRL.(2) construction evaluation novel protease substrates (luciferase fusion proteins emitting nIR light) caspase two blood clotting factors completed.(3) Novel quantum dots/rods made using luciferases collaboration with Mathew Maye, Syracuse University. (5) Analyses luminescent from C. variopedatus provided by Deheyn revealed presence riboflavin.(6) variant intramolecularly cross-linked trapping it C-domain rotated previously undocumented conformation. (7) With A. Gulick (Hauptman Woodward Institute) crystal structures determined providing insight into mechanism oxidative light reaction.
