摘要: The isotopic compositions of lead and the concentrations lead, uranium, thorium in samples oceanic tholeiite alkali suites are determined, genetic relations basalts discussed. Lead tholeiites has a varying lead-206: lead-204 ratio between 17.8 18.8, while leads basalt from Easter Island Guadalupe very radiogenic with ratios 19.3 20.4 It is concluded that (i) composition suggests upper mantle source region was differentiated original material more than 1 billion years ago not homogeneous at present time, (ii) less 20 million required for crystal differentiation within suite Island, (iii) no crustal contamination involved course rocks Island; however, some may have affected rocks, (iv) be produced by differentiation. Alternatively difference partial melting different depths mantle.
