Modeling and simulation of automotive wiper noise and vibration using finite element method

摘要: As modern passenger cars become increasingly quieter, wiper operation vibration and noise more noticeable. a result of the market information analysis, most complaints about concern noise. Wiper is classified into three main categories namely, squeal noise, chattering, reversal Squeal high-frequency 1000 Hz. Chattering low-frequency 100Hz or less an impact sound with frequency 500 Hz produced when reverses. This paper presents numerical studies on automotive blade. A 3-dimensional (3D) finite element (FE) model blade assembly developed then validated at component level using modal analysis. Complex eigenvalue analysis available in ABAQUS employed to determine stability assembly. It found that predicted results from complex are fairly close those generated experiment.
