Plantar pad thickness hardness measured at metatarsal heads. In addition, joint mobility was by measuring passive dorsal flexion metatarsophalangeal joints, peak pressures studied during walking. The results showed slightly less thinner pads diabetics as compared subjects; however, differences failed to reach statistical significance. Soft heel also comparable patients controls. At sites previous over significantly harder than other same or feet; pressure two heads higher (p < 0.05). Induration periarticular may predispose foot decreasing shock-absorption capacity pad.
