Monoclonal antibody to Thy-1 enhances regeneration of processes by rat retinal ganglion cells in culture

摘要: Ganglion cells were dissociated from postnatal rat retinas, identified by specific fluorescent labels, and maintained in culture on a variety of substrates. Regeneration processes retinal ganglion was enhanced when the plated glass coated with monoclonal antibody against Thy-1 determinant. Plain polylysine, collagen, fibronectin, or other antibodies supported growth neural processes, but less effective than to Thy-1.
