摘要: We have used pyridine and a number of related molecules to lower the workfunction thin Ag films so as compare effects various molecular properties on photoemission process surface electronic modes. find that nitrogen lone pair orbital is essential for large threshold shift. Other properties, such dipole moment polarizability very small effect. The are rough, therefore we see strong photoyields at energy plasma mode, 3.6 eV. There also peak in photoyield 3.85 eV, bulk plasmon.
