摘要: Publisher Summary This chapter reviews the characteristics of normal reader's eye movements during reading, abnormal and relationship different types dyslexia to movement patterns. Developmental is referred as a specific reading disability in which child has intelligence at least two years behind expected grade level sensory acuity, without neurological damage emotional problems. The further discusses disorders that result from lesions central nervous system illustrates how these abnormalities affect reading. additionally presents data patients with disorders. It shown disordered efferent oculomotor control causes severe insuperable During eyes make series saccadic movements, generally left-to-right direction. term “saccade” used distinguish this rapid, jerky type movement, separated by fixational pauses, pursuit or smooth tracking move slowly, maintaining fixation on moving target stationary point while head moves. There are three known influence behavior: paralytic slow saccades involving basal ganglia, brain stem, cerebral cortex; impaired initiation results acquired congenital apraxias left right parietal lobe; dysmetric saccades, cerebellum cerebellar pathways.
