摘要: In this lecture we explain 1) the biochemical basis for photosynthesis and plant production 2) future demands on biomass human use. Summing all physiological processes, efficiency of converting solar energy into is < 1.6% in tropics, between 0.4 0.8% temperate regions. view present high demand food, bioeconomics, fiber, construction material, only a relatively small fraction will be available bioenergy. We estimate to 3 8% global by 2050. The contribution bioenergy at higher end tropical regions less industrialized parts world, but may even 3% nations.
