摘要: A composite resonator ( 10 ) consisting of a conducting metal 14 and dielectric material 12 is used to provide resonant frequencies lower than can be obtained using the same volume alone with higher unloaded Q imbedded into cavity as resonator. This significantly reduces cost size without degrading its performance. An inexpensive ), such aluminum, substituted for more half stille form substantially equivalent properties. The operative embodiments invention 1 cover composites doughnut-shaped, i.e., cylindrical, configurations, “doughnut” either or “hole” 314 312 respectively.
