Control of matrix converters for AC power supplies using genetic algorithms

摘要: This paper describes the design philosophy, simulation and testing of AC power supplies using matrix converters. Instead classical a diode bridge rectifier, DC link PWM inverter, 3-phase to direct AC-AC (matrix) converter has been used as conditioning core system. An optimizing control method, genetic algorithm approach, which yields designs minimize cost function taking into account both transient steady state performance targets. A 40 kVA ground supply unit (GPU) for aircraft servicing 10 advanced mobile generator set have examples test approach in this application. Extensive simulations experimental tests prove also efficiency designed systems meeting international standards requirements.
