Synthesis and Characterization of Antimicrobial Silver Nanoparticles by an Endophytic Fungus Isolated from Nyctanthes arbor-tristis

摘要: Biofabrication of metal nanoparticles is a cost-effective, one-step and ecofriendly technique. Cell filtrate an endophytic fungus isolated from Nyctanthes arbor-tristis was challenged with 1 mM solution AgNO3 for the silver (AgNPs) synthesis. A reduction ions into AgNPs observed by surface plasmon resonance at absorption maxima 422 nm. The average size 35.05 nm. maximum inhibition zones were 14 mm each against E. coli Pseudomonas aeruginosa compared to used as control (10 mm 9 mm). identified Phomopsis helianthi sequencing ITS region rDNA. This experiment demonstrates single-step method biosynthesis their usage antimicrobial agent.
