摘要: The Gulf War brought about to the State of Kuwait some worst environmental pollution as a result oil spill. Since 1995, research programs have been initiated avoid further damage Kuwaiti desert and marine environment restore rehabilitate polluted land, water, air ecosystems. During following 15 years, different bioremediation methods both on laboratory small field scales were tested evaluated. findings these studies implemented establish bio-park in which ornamental shrubs trees grown bioremediated soil. This review will focus Kuwait’s experience rhizoremediation its positive impacts oil-contaminated sites.
