摘要: Abstract Hospital effectiveness is a topic of great importance in public sector management. This article focuses on group Intensive Care Units (ICUs) 44 Norwegian hospitals. The ICUs for many patients question life and death, the staff members should be trained to work under time pressure extremely difficult decision situations due patients' acute life-threatening conditions. It argued that such groups positively correlated with ICU's ability organize information. An important conclusion drawn from empirical tests high performing are organized by way hierarchy combined complementarity, extreme formalization degree decentralization.
