摘要: Purpose Micro RNAs are key regulators of various biological processes including the pathogenesis heart failure (HF). In this study we compared miRNA profiles (HF), left ventricular assist devices (LVAD) and non-failing (NF) hearts patients. Our goal was to identify epigenetic mechanisms involved in HF responses LVAD therapy. Methods were isolated from myocardial tissues patients without mechanical support at time transplant (n=6) after placement non-ischemic dilated cardiomyopathy along with NF controls (n = 6). NanoString analysis used compare expression among HF, LVAD, control raw count data preprocessed normalized using nSolver 4.0 Analysis Software. Ingenuity Pathway (IPA) carried out on differentially expressed micro RNA understand pathways involved. Results sample population 84% male an average age 57 82% Caucasian, 16% African American 2% Asian. Forty four miRNAs than 79 when post-LVAD IPA revealed that enlargement significantly altered p value 2.58E-04. Three upregulated (mir590-5p, mir146a-5p mir-761-5p) three downregulated by more two folds (mir-1, mir-23a-3p mir497-5). Heart also different pre vs post 2.57E-02.
