Surgical Decompression of Optic Nerve following Zygomaticomaxillary Fracture

摘要: A case of visual loss following Cranio-maxillofacial trauma is reported. The patient had partial blindness and inability to close the eyelid with right eye; it was associated displaced fracture lateral inferior wall orbit.  Access site achieved through incision placed on fronto-zygomatic region (lateral eyebrow approach). fractured fragment elevated fixed 4 hole miniplate gap 1.5mm. total return acuity without surgical complications. He could also his role orbital optic decompression in management patients traumatic neuropathy discussed this article. Indications such cases are controversial procedures should be considered only context specific needs individual patients.
