摘要: Many high-elevation wetlands have been degraded by activities related to the skiing industry. However, few studies exist on their restoration in this harsh environment. From 2010 2017, we set up an experiment a bog located at 2500 m within ski resort of Val-Thorens (France). We tested (1) if transplanting two sedge species, Trichophorum cespitosum and Eriophorum scheuchzeri effectively helped initiate vegetation (2) different planting combinations species under mulch treatments affected transplant survival cover. After stabilising bare peat with wood fascines installed weirs incised gully that drained bog, planted tussocks T. ramets E. scheuchzeri, each alone or mixture. used straw “biomulch” made live shoots Polytrichum moss. slight increase first 2 years, number decreased continuously all reached zero 2016. had low mortality treatments; its annual rate cover were significantly higher biomulch. Because strong winds snow action, was removed after 2 years while biomulch remained between 10 25% from third fifth year then close Nevertheless, seemed sufficient favour growth cespitosum. In soil lower This treatment appears be best option, but it is likely more than 7 10 years will required establish adequate plant sites.
