摘要: Abstract A series of CeXSn1−XO2−δ oxides with low amount tin (X ⩾ 0.8) have been synthesized by coprecipitation, and characterized a sort techniques. All the prepared were in range mesoporous materials. It was found that incorporation prevented ceria crystallites growth. The solubility limit for tin-doped oxide to be 22 at.%, partial segregation dioxide sample X = 0.8 XRD, Raman, DRS UV–vis XPS microstrain mixed oxides, associated lattice defects, increased content, which affects reducibility OSC, higher comparison than pure dioxide. into total surface acidity. analysis showed both 4+ 3+ oxidation states Ce, metallic together oxidized present being Ce4+ Sn4+/2+ species most abundant surface. very suitable as catalytic support copper CO oxidation, especially samples X = 0.975 0.95.
