摘要: Abstract Upper and lower bounds to the vibrational partition function q for molecules with double minimum potentials are derived. Both exact (Gibbs-Bogoliubov) upper (Golden-Thompson) bound evaluated analytically harmonic oscillator perturbed symmetrically or asymmetrically by a gaussian barrier.
