摘要: The isolated perfused rat liver releases GSH at a rate of 12 nmol/min/g wet wt. 37°C, whereas the release GSSG is much lower, 1 nmol/min/g. It has recently become evident that glutathione from may be significance for turnover if viewed in conjunction with transport plasma and degradation by extrahepatic tissues, notably kidney. We have found efflux occurs into caval perfusate, while bile, so also occur vivo. Assuming intact animal, it calculated pool designated as “labile pool” half-life time 1.7 h would size 1.8 μmol/g liver, amounting to approximately one-third content. If, on other hand, total contribute efflux, 5.2 h.
