摘要: Background Duodenal duplication cysts are rare gastrointestinal tract malformations. Most patients experience symptom onset in the first decade of life. This review aims to examine clinical presentation, management strategies and outcomes duodenal childhood. Methods A Pubmed/Medline (http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/) search October 2019 for articles published since 1999 using keywords "duodenal cyst," "child" "newborn" was carried out. Clinical symptoms, complications, diagnostic examinations, treatment options were analyzed tabulated. Results There 41 citations literature providing adequate descriptions 45 cases cysts. The age presentation ranged from newborn 18 years. median interval between initial definitive diagnosis 17 months (range: 2 12 years). Overall, 67% presented with abdominal pain, 43% complicated pancreatitis. Different surgical endoscopic therapeutic reported. Conclusions may be associated life-threatening complications and/or recurrent impairing quality Early recognition who demonstrate suggestive signs symptoms is important ensure success treatment. useful highlight main aspects limit risk a delayed diagnosis.
