摘要: Several small and large viruses (e.g., adenovirus, poxvirus, herpesviruses) have been investigated as vaccine vectors. Each viral system has its advantages disadvantages. One major advantage for vector vaccines is their ability to elicit a protective cell-mediated immunity well humoral response the antigen delivered by vector. problem using recombinant pathogenic potential of parent virus. Therefore, it important that along with optimal expression foreign genes provide protection, pathogenicity virus must be reduced during genetic manipulation without affecting multiplication. The requirements develop vector, example, swinepox virus, are cell culture will support growth suitable nonessential region(s) in genome insertion DNA so replication not affected, gene(s) encodes an immunogenic protein swine pathogen, strong transcriptional regulatory elements (promoters) necessary genes, procedure delivering into locus, convenient method distinguishing from wild-type Using this methodology, expressing pseudorabies antigens developed shown protection against challenge. These studies evidence local infection oral tract indicate providing various pathogens including those infect respiratory gastrointestinal tracts.
