摘要: Potentiometric measurements were made with microbial fuel cells containing Lactobacillus plantarum, Streptococcus lactis, or Erwinia dissolvens as the anodic reducing agent and glucose oxidizable substrate. The catalytic effect of five ferric chelate compounds was studied under different conditions. coulombic yields microorganism indicate a large degree energy conversion in systems studied, even larger than those reported literature for Escherichia coli. The mediators Fe(III)TTHA, Fe(III)CyDTA, Fe(III)EDTA, Fe(III)DTPA, Fe(III)EDADPA investigated. Fe(III)TTHA produced approximately same total electric charge when present concentration 0.01 molal. With Fe(III)CyDTA maximum power output 0.22 mW obtained 12 h using an external resistance 560 ω. In regenerative which run consecutive days, average 80% efficiency on basis complete oxidation added.
