摘要: Proposito y Metodo del Estudio: El proposito estudio fue conocer la dependencia al tabaco, los desordenes por consumo de alcohol relacion que existe entre motivos para el tabaco en estudiantes Mazatlan, Sinaloa, Mexico. diseno descriptivo correlacional. muestreo aleatorio estratificado, con asignacion proporcional a estratos facultad, semestre sexo. tamano muestra se determino base una correlacion considerando un nivel confianza .95, prueba unilateral, alterna .20 poder 90%, obtuvo n=300. Los instrumentos utilizados fueron Escala Dependencia Nicotina Fagerstrom, La Motivos Fumar (SMS-18), Cuestionario Identificacion Desordenes Consumo Alcohol (AUDIT), (CMC). Contribucion Conclusiones: resultados mostraron tipo prevalece es experimentador (61.7%), seguido usuario (32.5%) dependiente (5.8%). fumar psicologicos ( =25.65, DE=16.26), sociales =13.26, DE=15.87) fisicos =12.70, DE=18.60). Se encontro positiva significativa (rs=.571, p=05). En cuanto prevalecio danino (43.1%), sensato (34.6%) (22.4%). presento diferencia sexo (χ2= 5.05, p=.001), hombres presentaron mayor (50.5%) las mujeres (47.7%), (29.9%).
