摘要: We report measurements of the oscillator strengths between Stark‐split ground level and numerous excited Stark levels Nd3+, Sm3+, Er3+, Tm3+ in C2 sites Y2O3. Experimental results are compared with calculations based on Judd–Ofelt theory induced electric‐dipole transitions, which uses odd‐parity terms crystal‐field interaction (determined via an effective point‐charge model). also compare our theoretical previous manifold‐to‐manifold strengths, excited‐state lifetimes, intensity parameters. Magnetic‐dipole contributions to intensities included as well. Calculated ground‐state g values for all rare earths odd number f electrons reported. Comparison experimental indicates that good agreement is obtained most cases.
