摘要: An acoustic impulse source has been developed and used to simulate the highcoustic output of detonation driven sources. While sources are capable producing large signals (>160 dB) at 10s 100s meters from source, their laboratory use is limited due combustion byproducts. The present invention reproducing downrange detonative (170 short range, on order 1 meter, without noxious or thermal relies plasma formation resulting electrical arc discharge in air generate impulses resultant signals. Utilizing multiple channels timing control said channels, achieves increased efficiency ability tailor signal match desired characteristic output.
