摘要: We compare the environmental and star formation properties of far-infrared detected non-far-infrared galaxies out to z ˜ 0.5. Using optical spectroscopy photometry from Galaxy And Mass Assembly (GAMA) Sloan Digital Sky Survey, with observations Herschel Astrophysical Terahertz Large Area Survey (ATLAS) Science Demonstration Phase, we apply technique Voronoi tessellations analyse densities individual galaxies. Applying statistical analyses colour, r-band magnitude redshift-matched samples, show that there is a significant difference at 3.5sigma level between normalized these two populations. This such infrared emission (a tracer activity) favours underdense regions compared those inhabited by exclusively optically observed selected be same magnitude, colour redshift. Thus, more highly star-forming are found reside in most environments, confirming previous studies have proposed correlation. However, degeneracy redshift luminosity our flux-density-limited sample means unable make stronger statement this respect. then method synthetic light cones generated semi-analytic models, finding over whole distribution correlations rate density found.
