摘要: Purpose A prospective, randomized, controlled 5-year multicenter study evaluated the long-term clinical function of CerAdapt ceramic abutments compared to titanium on Branemark implants supporting short-span fixed partial dentures (FPD). Materials and methods Initially, 105 were placed in a total 32 patients at three different clinics; 103 remained after initial healing. Fifty-three 50 connected support 36 FPDs, 19 17 abutments. Results Thirty with 29 FPDs examined 5 years. There was cumulative success rate 97.2% for (94.7% 100% abutment-supported FPDs). One 53 none failed, giving survival rates 98.1% 100%, respectively. mean marginal bone loss 0.3 mm 0.4 mm, respectively, Soft tissues around adjacent teeth appeared healthy, no significant differences recorded mucosal bleeding plaque between Crown margins FPD insertion positioned as follows: 21% submucosally, 33% margin, 46% supramucosally. Changes level 12% abutments, 73% all changes balance more or less exposed crown during first 2 years, contrast 2- period, when meant margins. Conclusion Safe functional esthetic results can be achieved alumina FPDs.
