摘要: This exploratory study investigates whether and in which way motivation destination, travel event selection criteria influence sport tourists ’ involvement small-scale events. Thus, a model was developed tested at small scale Sfendami, Greece. To test the six hypotheses of proposed primary research conducted, received responses from 181 participants. Implementation partial least square technique showed that changes tourists’ style exert direct positive effect on involvement, as well an indirect with acting mediator; however, perception destination events characteristics does not significant participants’ involvement. Additionally, model's ability to predict motivational aspects participation demonstrated. Multidimensional scaling employed assist service design improve organizers’ capabilities develop effective promotional strategies.
