Statistical Analysis of Hourly Surface Ozone Concentrations in Cairo and Aswan / Egypt

摘要: Rescaled range analysis based on Hurst exponent is used to analyze persistence in data series of hourly surface ozone concentrations observed during 2001-2003 at two cities Egypt. Analysis accomplished for whole and monthly examine the seasonal effects results analysis. Results show that breaks scaling behaviour after up 24 hours (1 day) original concentration differenced are found. In time series, 30 (almost 1 day). addition, differencing resulted low compared one all months cities. Kurtosis revealed higher intermittence Aswan city both It found characteristics period governed by temporal dependence previous levels meteorological factors, moreover; has significant effect property series.
