摘要: Biomarkers are continuously being sought in the field of diagnostic microbiology for laboratory diagnosis and assessment microbial infections. A set clinical criteria necessary an ideal marker infection have previously been proposed by Ng his colleagues [1]. According these criteria, biomarker should possess at a minimum following characteristics: (a) biochemically, be stable remain significantly deregulated body fluid compartment least 12–24 h even after commencement appropriate treatment that may allow adequate time window specimen collection or storage without significant decomposition active compound until processing; (b) its concentration determined quantitatively method measurement automatic, rapid, easy, inexpensive; (c) minimally invasive require small volume (e.g., <0.5 mL blood). Numerous biomarkers found tested practice. Currently, microRNA (miRNA) molecules doubt with greatest potential capacities field.
