摘要: The velocity of ultrasonic waves has been measured in gaseous sulphur dioxide at 20, 102 and 200° C for values f/p ranging from 200 kcs -1 atm to 7 Mcs . ( f is the frequency, p pressure.) Dispersion involving major part vibrational specific heat was found all temperatures. Each dispersion zone corresponds two distinct relaxation times differing by a factor ten. lower time with activation lowest (519 cm ) mode, higher remainder energy. conditions giving rise double process are discussed.
