摘要: A new continuous thermodilution cardiac output measurement technique and companion flow-directed pulmonary artery catheter were evaluated in intensive care unit (ICU) patients. Continuous was monitored for 6 hours each patient, and, at selected intervals, a series of bolus determinations made averaged comparison. total 222 data pairs obtained 54 The outputs ranged from 2.8 to 10.8 L/min. linear regression is represented by the following equation: = 0.99 + 0.02. correlation coefficient r 0.94, Syx 0.54. mean relative error 0.3%, standard deviation 11.5%. absolute bias 0.02 L, 95% confidence limits 1.07 -1.03 L. results demonstrated that provided acceptable accuracy considerably easier use clinical situations studied ICU.
