摘要: This paper presents a system for describing infant-adult face to interactions. The uses as its basic constituent unit of analysis sets combinations expressive behaviors called Mo nadic Phases. Monadic Phases attempt provide descriptive interaction well the data base analyses relations between two partners and contribution each during interaction. importance developing an arises out crucial develop ment infant. human infant develops in social context. When that context is lacking or inappropriate fails thrive (Bowlby, 1969; Brazelton, 1973; Spitz, 1965). In past this dependency on led view was behaviorally undifferentiated poorly organized. An alterna tive having adaptive insuring survival development (Tronick, Als, & 1979). These adaptations would take form which com municate infant's needs adult produce appropriate nurturing responses. Attachment theories (Ainsworth, 1964; Bowlby, 1969) signaling (Bell, 1971; Goldberg, Note 1 ) view, studies have demonstrated organized quality responses effects these caretaker (Als, 1975; Osofsky, 1976).
