摘要: Spectroscopy has played a major role in bioinorganic chemistry defining both structure/function correlations and reaction coordinates catalysis. This chapter presents series of spectroscopic methods that covers more than ten orders magnitude photon energy including recent advances synchrotron-based spectroscopy. The information content each method is developed terms geometric electronic structure the covalency ligand–metal bonds.
