A novel route for the preparation of gold nanoparticles in polycaprolactone nanofibers

摘要: A facile strategy for the fabrication of polycaprolactone (PCL) nanofibers containing gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) is proposed. The method based on electrospinning nanosuspensions loaded with passivated Au nanoparticles. optical property synthesized was observed by UV-visible absorption spectra. Morphology and structure Au-PCL hybrid were characterized scanning electron microscopy, transmission Fourier transformed infrared spectroscopy. results investigations dynamic light scattering confirmed presence diameters less than 10 nm. STEM images show agglomerates diameter around 30 to 180 nm distributed over surface nanofibers, which likely due increased incidence agglomerations AuNPs, drying process used.
