摘要: The objectives of this study are twofold. First, synthesized relevant research and limitations systemic (pedestrian) safety analysis. Second, the explored one identified relative to ranking roadway facilities based on primary risk factors. An intersection-pedestrian-crash data set from Austin, Texas was used. Comparisons among candidate methods suggest that results were very sensitive weights used, grouping-based method combining arbitrary produced relatively stable results. However, finding is inconclusive, more would be needed investigate alternative methods, especially ones suitable for making decisions under multiple criteria (risk factors).
