摘要: Microstructured reactors offer new possibilities not only for industrial-scale production of fine chemicals but also kinetic measurements heterogeneously catalysed reactions. In addition to excellent heat management accurate temperature control and the ability work with small volumes highly reactive or hazardous products, microreactors should exhibit enhanced mass transfer from bulk fluid catalyst-coated walls due characteristic dimensions reactor channels. By eliminating diffusional limitations, enable reliable measurement intrinsic reaction rate constants, even systems, thereby contribute significantly shortening delays laboratory development industrial scale—up.
