摘要: Abstract Objective: Stentless biologic aortic valves are less obstructive than stented or mechanical valves. Their superior hemodynamic performances expected to reflect in better regression of left ventricular hypertrophy. We compared the hypertrophy 3 groups patients undergoing valve replacement for severe stenosis. Group I (10 patients) received stentless valves, group II and III bileaflet Methods: Echocardiographic evaluations were performed before operation after 1 year, results with those a control group. Left diameters function, wall thickness, mass assessed by echocardiography. Results: had significantly lower maximum mean transprosthetic gradient other ( P = .001). One year there was significant reduction all patient .05). Although rate interventricular septum posterior thickness differed slightly among groups, their values at follow-up comparable still higher .002). The ratio between chamber radius did not change follow-up. Conclusions: Because number relatively small, we could use distinguish stenosis means prostheses different performances.
