摘要: Abstract This research aims to study the fracture behaviour in dissimilar aluminum alloys adjoined by friction stir welding (FSW). In this way, experimental data dealing with topic was taken from recent literature. those results, two metal sheets made of Al 7075-T6 and 6061-T6 were together FSW form well-known specimen, namely cracked semi-circular bend (CSCB) then they are tested under mixed mode I/II loading condition. Due fact that substantial plastic behavior exist welded material consequently significant deformations observed around crack tip, failure prediction mentioned specimens needs models basis elastic-plastic mechanics which can be realized as sophisticated operations inquiring long time. Equivalent Material Concept (EMC) is utilized coupled eligible energy-based criteria, averaged strain energy density (ASED) J-integral criteria. Thus, critical load samples predicted. Comparison between empirical theoretical predictions evaluations showed model has enough capability estimating CSCB samples.
