摘要: In this work a model and solution strategy are developed to describe class of coupled thermo-chemo-mechanical systems involving the solid-state diffusion dilute solute into multiphase solid material, subsequent reactions, production heat, changes in stress fields, evolution material degradation inelastic strains solid. The algorithm involves recursive staggering, whose convergence is dependent on discretized time step size. Because multifield coupling can change, becoming stronger, weaker, or possibly oscillatory, it extremely difficult ascertain a-priori size needed meet prespecified tolerance staggering error, i.e. incomplete resolution interaction between fields. process adaptivity control contraction mapping constant system operator order induce desired rates within each step, hence, error. Three-dimensional numerical experiments performed illustrate behavior strategy.
