摘要: The feeding behavior of the nemertean Pro- cephalothrix simulus and effects extrinsic factors on rates this were experimentally studied. Procephalothrix showed a typical mac- rophagous strategy consumed various food items. When capturing freshwater Tubifex sp., nemerte- ans successfully ingested prey in all attacks, they did not evert proboscis 25% capture events. marine Saccocirrus gabrillae, nemerteans failed to consume more than half always everted proboscis. There was positive relationship between body weight rate successful negative duration P. increased when temper- ature raised from 5 °C 30 but significantly inhibited at 32 °C. Food intake reduced media diluted practical salinity 20 10 medium with elevated 45. Dark conditions induced higher intake, density had no signif- icant effect rate. These results suggest that is predator adapted variable environmental intertidal habitat.
