摘要: Abstract The onset of interfacial instability due to solute transfer between two immiscible liquid phases can be described as the occurrence an undamped longitudinal wave at their interface. damping coefficient such a expressed in terms properties interface and adjoining bulk phases, is assumed equal zero instability. theory predicts under following conditions: (i) decreases tension proceeds from more viscous less phase. (ii) increases (iii) For restricted range relevant parameters, also expected when occurs Predictions made are fair agreement with experimental data obtained on different systems.
