摘要: Ever since the ureteral stent design was fitted with a curl on both sides to prevent it from migrating up or down ureter some 40 years ago, its use has gained tremendous momentum, aiding in rise and evolution of endourology confidently kept place modern time urology. Over past four decades, several designs, coating biomaterials have been developed, trying reduce infection, encrustation other related symptoms. As ideal not yet discovered, different ways helping patients their complaints researched. This review will cover these aspects urolithiasis.
