摘要: Research has shown that guiding students' attention guides their thought, and can be communicated via eye movements. Therefore, this study investigates whether such a procedure further enhance the effectiveness of examples in which solution is demonstrated to students by (expert) model. Students' was guided showing them not only model's problem-solving actions on computer screen, but also movements while doing so. Interestingly, results show combined with verbal description thought process, form guidance had detrimental effects learning. Consequences for research instructional design are discussed.
